Founded by horticultural expert Ali'i Chang, the 13.5-acre property sits approximately 4,000 feet above sea level and features around 15 varieties of lavender, along with olive trees, hydrangeas, protea, succulents, and other beautiful plants.

The farm's story began in 2001 when Chang received a lavender plant as a gift from a friend. His passion for gardening transformed that simple gift into one of Maui's most distinctive botanical destinations.

Thanks to Kula's cool, dry climate, several varieties of lavender bloom throughout the year, making the gardens a beautiful destination in any season.

My husband and I took a trip there and I can't wait to go back. I picked up a few things in the great gift shop! 

Located at 1100 Waipoli Road in Kula, the farm welcomes visitors Friday through Monday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Self-guided garden visits are available, with no reservations required.
